Redesign of the autopolishing service website
new design and user-friendly control system
About the project
At the time of the start of work, the company already had an active WordPress site. At the same time, the problem was not so much in the CMS itself, as in how the existing project was implemented.
The site was difficult to maintain and update on its own. Changing information about services was inconvenient, adding new materials and works required technical knowledge, and project support took longer than it should have.
At the same time, the company already had accumulated content that it did not want to lose: service descriptions, portfolios, images, informational materials and other data.
Therefore, the task consisted of several parts at once: to create a new interface, preserve existing content and at the same time simplify further work with the site.
Task
The main task was a complete revision of the project, both from the point of view of the visual part and from the point of view of content management.
Needed:
- develop a new website design from scratch;
- to make the interface clearer and more user-friendly;
- save and transfer existing content;
- redesign the structure of the presentation of services and completed works;
- to provide the company’s employees with the opportunity to independently update information;
- simplify the processing of incoming applications;
- to abandon the heavy CMS functionality that is unnecessary for the project;
- to ensure the full adaptability of the site.
As a result, the new website was supposed to become not just a visually updated version of the old one, but a more convenient working tool for the company.
Design
The new design was completely developed from scratch in Figma.
We did not limit ourselves to changing individual elements of the old site. A new visual concept was formed and the presentation of information was redesigned: services, portfolios, materials used and other sections received a more understandable structure.
Special attention was paid to ensuring that the user could quickly understand the company’s offer and switch from the service of interest to additional information or sending an application.
After preparing the layouts, the design was adapted to various screen sizes, from desktop resolutions to mobile devices.

Transferring content
One of the important parts of the project was the migration of existing content from the old site.
We saved and transferred:
- services and their descriptions;
- portfolio;
- Photo;
- materials used;
- information pages;
- Contact information;
- other basic project data.
At the same time, the content was not just transferred to the new system, but adapted to the new site structure.
For example, the portfolio has become presented as separate project cards, where you can post photos, descriptions, and work-related information.
The materials used in specific services have also received a separate presentation and can be managed through the administrative part of the site.
New CMS
Instead of reusing WordPress, we decided to make our own lightweight Vanilla PHP management system for the project.
This decision was related to the specifics of the site itself.
The project did not require complex universal CMS mechanisms, dozens of plug-ins, or a large ecosystem of third-party extensions. The company needed specific tools for daily work with its own website.
Therefore, we have implemented only the necessary functionality.
As a result, the administrative part allows you to manage the main entities of the site.:
- services;
- by categories;
- portfolio;
- materials;
- with photos;
- contact information;
- with sliders;
- incoming requests.
This approach has made the system easier for the user and more predictable for further support.
Portfolio Management
A separate structure has been implemented for the portfolio.
Each work is designed as an independent project card, and not just as an image in a general list.
This allows the company to gradually build its own database of completed works and independently add new projects through the administrative dashboard.
At the same time, the portfolio is linked to the structure of the site and can be used as a full-fledged source of information for a potential client.

Service management
The services also received a separate management structure.
An employee of the company can independently change information about services and keep the catalog up to date.
The materials used in specific services are separately managed. These are not articles or blogs, but rather a list of materials that are used in the performance of relevant work.
This structure allows you not to contact the developer every time you need to make a regular content change.
Working with applications
The feedback forms on the website were linked to the administrative part.
When a user submits a request, the information:
saved in the system → displayed in the admin panel → additionally sent to the corporate email.
Thus, the appeal does not depend only on the delivery of the letter and remains available inside the system.
For the company, this provides a single place where you can view incoming requests and monitor their processing.
Adaptability and technical implementation
The new site is fully responsive and works correctly on:
- desktop;
- tablet;
After development, the interface was tested in different browsers and on different types of devices.
By switching to a lighter architecture and eliminating a lot of unnecessary CMS functionality, we also managed to improve the speed of the site.
At the same time, our own management system does not try to replace the universal CMS in all possible scenarios — it contains only those tools that a particular project really needs.
Result
As a result, we completely redesigned Polirovka.by : we have developed a new design, migrated the existing content and implemented a new technical framework for the project.
Instead of the old implementation, which was difficult for the client, a lightweight Vanilla PHP website with its own management system appeared, where the main content operations are performed directly by the company’s employees.
The new website is currently running on the combat domain. polirovka.by .
The main result of the project is not only a new look, but also a combination of a modern interface and much simpler website management, adapted to the real business objectives.
