Task

LLK Company is the official distributor of the Turkish manufacturer of industrial equipment in Belarus. The company’s main clients are industrial enterprises, government organizations, construction companies and manufacturing plants.

For more than 20 years, the company has been using a corporate website, which has gradually ceased to meet modern requirements. Despite the high expertise of the business, the company’s digital representation looked outdated, did not support mobile devices, and did not allow for prompt information updates.

Our task was to completely rethink the site, preserving the accumulated content, search positions and brand awareness.

It was necessary to create a modern corporate website that:

  • completely updates the visual style of the company;
  • retains the existing structure and SEO positions;
  • provides easy navigation through industrial catalogs;
  • allows employees to manage content independently;
  • It works correctly on all devices.;
  • It becomes a full-fledged sales tool for the B2B audience.

Additionally, it was necessary to localize the manufacturer’s technical documentation and prepare Russian-language catalogs for posting on the website.

The key complexity of the project

The most difficult task was to carry out a complete modernization of the site without losing its accumulated value.

It was necessary to solve several tasks simultaneously:

  • develop a completely new modern design;
  • keep the company recognizable;
  • migrate all existing content;
  • save the URL structure and SEO weight of the pages;
  • provide the customer with a convenient administrative dashboard.

Any errors during the transfer could lead to a loss of search traffic and a deterioration in the user experience.

An additional challenge was working with the manufacturer’s technical documentation. The catalogs were supplied exclusively in PDF format and contained a large number of specialized terminology, diagrams, and technical specifications.

What we have implemented

Complete website redesign

Based on the existing corporate style, a new interface has been developed in Figma.

We have completely redesigned:

  • the main page;
  • menu structure;
  • product pages;
  • company pages;
  • documentation section;
  • news;
  • contact information.

The new design has preserved the corporate identity of the company, while becoming much more modern and user-friendly.

Adaptive layout

After the design was approved, a fully adaptive layout was performed.

The site works equally correctly.:

  • on smartphones;
  • tablets;
  • laptops;
  • large-format monitors.

This was especially important for the company, since the previous version of the site did not have a mobile version at all.

Migration to WordPress

WordPress was chosen as the CMS.

This allowed:

  • opt out of manual page updates;
  • provide employees with a convenient administrative dashboard;
  • self-publish news;
  • update catalogs;
  • upload documents;
  • manage banners;
  • change the SEO settings of the pages without the involvement of developers.

Migrating existing content

During the migration process, the following were saved:

  • site pages;
  • documents;
  • section structure;
  • existing URLs;
  • SEO metadata.

The product catalogs have been updated and placed in the new structure of the website.

AI-localization of technical documentation

Localization of the manufacturer’s technical catalogs became a separate stage of the project.

It was necessary to translate:

  • catalog of pumping equipment — 93 pages;
  • The valve catalog is 19 pages long.

There are 112 pages of specialized technical documentation in total.

Modern AI tools were used to speed up the process, after which the materials were checked, edited and terminology adapted before publication.

This approach has significantly reduced the time required to prepare documentation without losing the quality of the translation.

SEO training

Before the launch, work was carried out to preserve search positions.:

  • saving the URL structure;
  • transferring meta tags;
  • setting up robots.txt;
  • bread crumbs;
  • basic SEO page optimization.

Thanks to this, the transition to the new platform took place without significant risks for organic traffic.

All operations are performed without involving developers.

Real business effect

Modern digital representation. The company has received a modern corporate website corresponding to the level of an international industrial supplier.

Increased customer trust. The new design has significantly improved the brand’s perception among industrial enterprises and corporate customers.

Improve the mobile experience. After the launch of the site, users received a full-fledged mobile version, which had a positive effect on the usability and conversion of mobile traffic.

Independent site management. Switching to WordPress allowed the company’s employees to update information on their own, without involving developers for everyday tasks.

Speeding up the preparation of technical documentation. Using AI to localize more than 110 pages of technical catalogs has significantly reduced the time required to prepare materials for a Russian-speaking audience and bring updated documentation to the site faster.

Results

After the completion of the project, the company received:

  • completely updated corporate website;
  • modern adaptive design;
  • a convenient content management system;
  • saving accumulated SEO positions;
  • the mobile version of the website;
  • updated product catalogs;
  • localized technical documentation;
  • a convenient tool for further development of the digital presence.

This is not just a website redesign.

This is a comprehensive digital modernization of an industrial company’s corporate resource, which has made it possible to preserve the accumulated value of a twenty-year-old website, make it convenient for modern users and prepare for further development without loss of search positions and content.
