Development of a premium website for a brand of wedding dresses
with a customized visual concept
About the project
The project was created for the Sonya Soley brand, which needed a modern premium website with a strong visual component.
On the technical side, the project largely repeated the approach that we had already used in other premium sites: full-fledged frontend and backend development, administrative part, adaptive version and implementation of all provided user scenarios.
At the same time, the main focus in this project was on the visual concept.
The task was not to use a ready-made template or repeat an existing style, but to technically implement a separate brand design concept and preserve its features on all devices.
Task
It was necessary to develop a full-fledged website based on ready-made Figma layouts and transfer the visual concept into a working web product.
The project required:
- implement all pages by design;
- match frontend;
- develop the backend part;
- create an administrative dashboard;
- implement the provided functional elements;
- ensure adaptability;
- It is correct to display visually complex elements at different resolutions.;
- to test the site before launching.
At the same time, it was important to preserve the character of the design and its visual presentation, without simplifying the layouts during the development process.
Design
The project was based on Figma layouts designed specifically for Sonya Soley.
Unlike other projects of a similar type, the main difference here was precisely in the visual concept. With a similar technical architecture, the site has received its own style, composition and design.
We have moved the design from Figma to a fully functional interface, while maintaining the layouts provided.:
- page structure;
- the visual hierarchy;
- typography;
- images and graphic elements;
- interactive states;
- animations and transitions;
- adaptive display options.
Thus, the design did not remain a static prototype — all its key elements were implemented directly in the working site.
Frontend-development
Frontend was fully developed based on prepared layouts.
Special attention was paid to visual accuracy: for a premium website, it was important not just to place the blocks correctly, but to maintain proportions, rhythm, image handling, and the overall design atmosphere.
All interactive elements provided by the project were implemented directly on the website.
Adaptive versions have been prepared separately so that the visual concept is preserved not only on the big screen, but also on tablets and smartphones.
Backend and administrative panel
In addition to frontend development, we implemented the backend part and the administrative panel.
The admin panel allows you to manage the content of the site without having to contact the developers for standard changes.
At the same time, the administrative part was built taking into account the specific structure of the project, and not as a universal system with a lot of unnecessary tools.
This allows you to keep the content up-to-date and, if necessary, update the information on the site yourself.
Functionality
Functionally, we implemented the same basic set of features that were used in similar premium projects.
At the same time, the user part is completely subordinated to the specific design of Sonya Soley: functional elements are embedded in the visual concept of the site, and do not exist separately from it.
This is especially important for premium segment projects, where standard interface elements should not destroy the integrity of the visual presentation.
Adaptability
The site is fully adapted for different devices.
We have implemented a separate interface behavior for:
- desktop;
- tablet;
During the adaptation, the elements were not just reduced in proportion to the width of the screen, but their location and behavior were redesigned where the layout structure required it.
As a result, the site retains its original visual concept on both a large monitor and a mobile device.
Result
The design was fully implemented on the web, from frontend to backend and admin panel.
With a similar technical approach to other premium projects, it was possible to create an independent visual story here: a different style, a different presentation and a different atmosphere while maintaining the necessary level of functionality.
The site is fully adaptive, all the main elements are implemented, and the project is up and running on the combat domain.
The main result is a full—fledged premium web product, in which the technical implementation does not limit the design, but allows you to preserve its individuality in the finished site.
